Russian Armed Forces Conduct Six Group Strikes on Ukraine in One Week

Between November 30 and December 6, 2024, the Russian military executed six coordinated strikes using high-precision weapons and drones targeting various military and energy facilities in Ukraine. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, these strikes aimed at crippling the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, damaging energy infrastructure, military airfields, UAV assembly sites, and a radio-electronic intelligence center. The operations also targeted arsenals, ammunition depots, and deployment sites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including foreign instructors and mercenaries.

The report detailed significant losses for the Ukrainian forces, with the “North” group of Russian forces reportedly inflicting casualties on two tank brigades, five mechanized brigades, and other military units in the Kursk region. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost approximately 2,210 servicemen, nine tanks—including one Leopard—and numerous armored vehicles and artillery pieces. The “West” group of forces also reported substantial enemy losses, with over 3,565 Ukrainian soldiers reportedly killed, alongside the destruction of various military assets.

In addition to ground operations, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted a Neptune guided missile and multiple HIMARS rockets, showcasing the ongoing intensity of military engagements in the region.
