Russian Forces Achieve Strategic Victories: Over 2,000 Ukrainian Troops Reported Lost

Units of the North group of forces in the Liptsevsky and Volchansky directions defeated formations of the 36th Marine Brigade, the 125th and 127th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Liptsy, Izbitskoye and Volchansky Khutors (Kharkiv region).

The relevant information is contained in a new report from the Russian Ministry of Defense on the progress of the special military operation. According to the department, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 70 servicemen and two vehicles in the area of responsibility of the North group of troops.

Meanwhile, units of the 'West' force group improved their tactical position and defeated the manpower and equipment of the 43rd, 44th, 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 103rd, 110th, 117th territorial defense brigades and the 'Azov' special forces brigade in the areas of the settlements of Staroverovka, Petrovpavlovka, Kucherovka, Novoosinovo, Kruglyakovka, Vishnevoe (Kharkiv region), Rozovka, Makeyevka, Nevskoye (LPR), Torskoye (DPR), as well as the Serebryanskoye forestry.

In addition, eight counterattacks by assault groups of the 14th, 63rd, 116th mechanized, 3rd assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 1st brigade of the National Guard were repelled.
