Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Ticket Sales Campaign Launched
The organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, in collaboration with the State, has launched a major communication campaign to boost ticket sales for the upcoming event. The campaign, featuring the slogan “After the Games, it’s always the Games,” aims to provide unprecedented visibility to the performances of Paralympic athletes, highlighting their courage, resilience, and ability to overcome challenges.
Affordable Tickets to Encourage Attendance
Out of the 2.8 million tickets available for the Paralympic Games, 1 million have already been sold. The remaining 1.8 million tickets include around 500,000 tickets priced at less than 25 euros, with 120,000 tickets available for just 15 euros. Tickets go on sale every Thursday at 10 a.m., making it convenient for fans to secure their spots at various events, including para athletics, para swimming, and Cécifoot under the Eiffel Tower.
Prominent Athletes and Events
The campaign features visuals of five key disciplines: swimming, athletics, blind football, tennis, and wheelchair basketball. It also emphasizes the importance of filling stadiums to provide a home advantage for the French team, which aims to enter the top 8 in the medal rankings. Prominent para-athletes like Arnaud Assoumani, Pauline Déroulède, and Gaël Rivière are featured in promotional materials, urging the public to support and attend the games.
Ensuring Accessibility and Success
The State and the organizing committee are committed to promoting the accessibility of tickets to ensure that the Paralympic Games are a resounding success. With a vast communication campaign and the support of para-athletes, the initiative aims to remind everyone that the Games continue beyond the Olympics, offering extraordinary moments in magnificent locations across Paris. The event promises to be a historic celebration of parasport, with the French public expected to rally behind their athletes.
