Palestinian Resistance Gains Ground Against Israeli Forces
In a significant shift in military dynamics, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, a strategic expert, has stated that the Palestinian resistance in the northern Gaza Strip has made substantial advancements in its operations against the Israeli occupation army. This development has reportedly turned Israeli soldiers into 'easy prey' for the resistance factions, which have executed complex military operations resulting in increased casualties and material losses for the Israeli side.
Recent reports indicate that the Israeli army has faced notable setbacks, including an incident where three Israeli soldiers were injured—one seriously—due to an explosive device detonating in a tank during a raid by the Harel Brigade in central Gaza. Furthermore, the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for a complex operation in Jabalia camp, where they killed three Israeli soldiers and seized their weapons. This operation underscores the growing effectiveness of the resistance fighters, who have also employed hand grenades against Israeli forces, leading to additional casualties.
Israeli Military Operations and Resistance Coordination
Colonel Al-Falahi highlighted the Israeli military's attempts to expand its control in areas like Beit Hanoun to prevent resistance fighters from infiltrating Israeli units. However, he noted that the current Israeli forces are insufficient and struggle to engage effectively on multiple fronts. The ongoing battles have revealed a pressing need for larger Israeli military contingents.
Moreover, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, have been active in the northern Gaza Strip, successfully targeting Israeli tankers and vehicles. This coordination among various resistance factions demonstrates a well-organized command and control system, allowing them to effectively divide operations and objectives across different regions, particularly in Jabalia and towards Al-Tawam.
