Lucky Player Strikes Gold: €14 Million Loto Jackpot Won in Haute-Marne!

If the Super Loto on Friday the 13th did not find a taker, it did not take long before the special jackpot was pocketed. Increased by one million euros, to reach 14 million, it was won on Saturday by a single player in the Haute-Marne department.

This lucky guy played the five correct numbers (6, 11, 15, 32 and 49) and the correct lucky number (4). He becomes the biggest Loto winner in the history of his department, far ahead of the 4 million euros won in July 2020. It is also the fifth largest jackpot won in France this year in the national lottery. At the end of July, a resident of Hauts-de-Seine pocketed the record win in 2024 of 22 million euros.

In addition, Saturday's draw made several other players happy. Two other players found the five correct numbers (but not the lucky number) and each won 131,825 euros. A player from the 2nd draw option managed to win the additional jackpot, pocketing 183,798 euros, reports the specialist website tirage-gagnant.com. In total, 962,213 grids were winners in France for this draw, the FDJ indicates on its website.

A Saturday 14th happier than Friday 13th. A player who filled his grid in Haute-Marne won the exceptional jackpot of 14 million euros put into play by Française des Jeux (FDJ) on Saturday 14th September.

While all the players had missed out on the €13 million jackpot put into play the day before on the occasion of Friday the 13th, he finally won this jackpot increased to €14 million. The lucky winner found the winning combination by checking 6, 11, 15, 32, 49 and the Lucky number 4.

This is the largest sum ever won in this department located in the Grand-Est region, and the fifth largest jackpot of the year 2024. The biggest Loto win of the year, which amounts to 22 million euros, was won at the end of July by a resident of Montrouge (Hauts-de-Seine) who only discovered his winning ticket a few days ago, when he returned from vacation.

In addition to this nice win of 14 million euros, two other players received 131,825 euros after finding the five correct numbers, while a player from the second draw won the additional jackpot, by matching 11, 21, 25, 35 and 41, allowing him to pocket a win of 183,798 euros.
