The Public Prosecution in Libya has detained Mohammed Bahroun, Deputy Head of the Security Threats Combating Agency, amid investigations into the assassination of Major Abdul Rahman Milad, known as 'Al-Bidja.'
Last Sunday, Al-Bidja was shot dead by gunmen in Janzour, a suburb of Tripoli, raising concerns over security in a country plagued by political division and violence.
The Attorney General's Office is probing Bahroun and his assistant for their potential involvement in this high-profile assassination.
