Khamenei's Defiant Stance on Resistance Movements
In a powerful Friday sermon delivered in Tehran, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei asserted that the enemies of Hamas and Hezbollah will never achieve victory. Speaking in Arabic, Khamenei addressed the ongoing conflicts in Lebanon and Gaza, emphasizing the unity of the Islamic nation against oppression. He articulated the belief that the policy of the 'arrogant and tyrants' is to sow division among Muslims, but that the enemy remains the same, regardless of the differing methods employed in various countries.
Khamenei called for solidarity among Muslims, stating, "We must tighten our belts to defend the Islamic nation from Afghanistan to Yemen, from Iran to Gaza and Lebanon." He reaffirmed the right of the Palestinian people to resist against occupiers, declaring their uprising as a legitimate response to oppression. Khamenei also praised the support of Hezbollah for Gaza, describing it as a significant service to the region and humanity.
He highlighted that the recent actions taken by Iranian armed forces to support Gaza were legal and legitimate, stating, "The Al-Aqsa Flood is a legitimate and natural movement of the Palestinian people." Khamenei concluded with a strong message that the resistance movements in the region, despite facing challenges and sacrifices, will ultimately prevail, claiming that the recent struggles have set back the 'usurping entity' by decades.
