Republican Congressman Andy Ogles has introduced a resolution calling for Kamala Harris to be impeached for alleged serious crimes committed as vice president. In the articles of impeachment presented, Ogles accuses Harris of having demonstrated an 'extraordinary incompetence in the execution of duties' in particular on immigration, one of the dossiers that Joe Biden had entrusted to her. Harris has shown a 'strong refusal' to implement existing immigration laws and a 'palpable indifference to Americans suffering from the crisis at the border' with Mexico, Ogles noted.
Kamala Harris has the support of enough Democratic delegates to win the party's nomination for president, according to CNN's delegate estimate. While support from delegates continues to arrive, the vice president already has the support of more than the 1,976 committed delegates she will need to win the nomination on the first vote. Harris crossed the threshold amid a wave of support from state delegations on Monday night.
