Minister of 'Development of the Negev and Galilee' in the Israeli government, Yitzhak Wasserlav, said that his storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque with Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was in full coordination with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Media outlets reported Netanyahu's 'indignation' at the storming operation carried out by hundreds of settlers, accompanied by representatives and ministers, including Ben Gvir, who performed Talmudic prayers in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, with police protection, on the third day of the so-called 'Jewish Throne Day.'
Netanyahu was also reported to have addressed Ben Gvir 'indignantly' and said that he and his government were the only ones who determine the policies for this mosque, but Wasserlav confirmed - in an interview with a local radio - that the move was coordinated with Netanyahu and other parties concerned with the issue.
