After his statement on Monday morning on Israeli radio that he intends to build a synagogue on the “Temple Mount,” that is, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, reactions continued rejecting the repeated provocative statements by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, accompanied by actions on the ground that would change the status quo.
Ben Gvir stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque 6 times since assuming his position as Minister of National Security in early 2023, and 3 times since the 7th of last October and the outbreak of the Gaza War.
