According to a secret International Atomic Energy Agency report released Thursday, Iran has significantly increased its stockpile of enriched uranium, raising concerns over its nuclear ambitions.
The report, revealed by the Associated Press, indicates that as of August 17, Iran has accumulated 164.7 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, a significant increase of 22.6 kg since May. This level of enrichment is alarmingly close to the 90% threshold required for nuclear weapons.
Furthermore, Iran has not reversed its decision to restrict access for experienced nuclear inspectors and has disabled surveillance cameras at its facilities. The IAEA's ongoing investigation into the origins of man-made uranium particles found at undeclared sites remains unanswered.
