Al-Qassam Brigades Release Footage of Israeli Ambush in Jabalia
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have released footage showing their fighters successfully luring Israeli special forces into a booby-trapped house in Jabalia, located in the northern Gaza Strip. The ambush, which took place on October 12, was documented under the title "Your goods have been returned to you." The video illustrates the meticulous preparation for the ambush, including the booby-trapping of the house with an MK84 missile reportedly left behind by Israeli forces.
The footage captures the moment when the Israeli soldiers entered the booby-trapped house, leading to a significant explosion that resulted in casualties among the Israeli troops. Following this incident, Al-Qassam fighters engaged in further clashes with the Israeli forces, targeting an Israeli tank with an anti-tank shell and detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) against foot soldiers. This confrontation is part of a broader Israeli military operation initiated approximately two weeks ago, aimed at curbing Hamas's capabilities in the region.
Gaza Ministry of Interior Issues Warning
In light of the ongoing military actions, the Ministry of Interior in Gaza has cautioned residents against heeding calls from the Israeli army to evacuate their homes in Jabalia and surrounding areas. The Ministry described these calls as deceptive tactics aimed at furthering Israeli military objectives. The Al-Qassam Brigades have been actively documenting their operations against Israeli forces since the commencement of the ground operation on October 27, showcasing their strategic ambushes and the resulting human and material losses inflicted on Israeli military units.
