The Israel Hotel Association has announced a significant discount campaign on hotel bookings across Israel, commencing today. The campaign, originally reported by Israel Hayom, offers discounts of 20% or more at approximately 180 hotels throughout the country. This promotion will be valid for bookings made between June 18 and August 18, 2024, including weekends.
Details of the Discount Campaign
The campaign, targeting both local and inbound tourism, will provide roughly 20,000 discounted nights. It covers numerous prestigious hotels, including Orchid Eilat, Herbert Samuel Shangri-La Eilat, Yu Coral Beach, and many more. The discounts will be available regardless of the vacation group, room type, or board basis. To facilitate reservations, a dedicated website (https://ihahotels.org.il/) has been established, where vacationers can secure these offers directly.
Addressing the Complex Reality
Sivan Detauker, the CEO of the Israel Hotel Association, highlighted the campaign's intent to provide much-needed respite during these challenging times. Detauker stated that the ongoing hostilities have left many Israelis displaced or confined to their homes with children. By offering these substantial discounts, the association aims to enable more people to take a break from the stresses of the current period. The campaign is also a response to the rising anti-Semitism abroad and uncertainties surrounding international travel.
- The promotion will be executed as a rapid decision campaign, lasting only 48 hours. The public will have until June 20, 1:00 PM to book their vacations at discounted rates for the period between June 18 and August 18, 2024. The campaign encompasses a wide range of cities, including popular destinations like Eilat, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, the Galilee, and the Golan.
