In a recent wave of violence, at least 5 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured due to Israeli shelling across various locations in Gaza. The bombardment resulted in significant casualties, with 3 Palestinians killed and over 24 injured in an attack on a house near displaced persons' tents in Khan Yunis, while additional fatalities occurred in the Sheikh Nasser area and the Nuseirat camp.
The situation intensified on Friday, with Palestinian medical sources reporting that around 60 Palestinians lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes, including 38 deaths from bombings on that day alone. Notably, an Israeli drone strike on Kamal Adwan Hospital injured two doctors and several patients, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by medical personnel and civilians alike.

In response to the ongoing Israeli attacks, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for sniper operations against Israeli soldiers and targeted military vehicles in Rafah. Similarly, the Al-Quds Brigades of the Islamic Jihad Movement reported engaging in armed clashes with Israeli forces in Beit Lahia. The Israeli army confirmed that an officer from the Nahal Brigade was seriously injured during these confrontations, underscoring the escalating military engagement on both sides.
