Bruce Springsteen Forced to Postpone More Concerts Due to Health Issues

Bruce Springsteen has had to make further cancellations in his concert schedule following voice problems that initially led to the postponement of his performance in Marseille. The celebrated rocker's official Instagram account announced that three additional dates in Prague and Milan have now been postponed. These developments come as doctors advised the 74-year-old artist to refrain from performing for the next ten days to allow sufficient recovery time.

Springsteen, along with his E Street Band, has experienced considerable success during their European stadium tour. They are now aiming to resume their tour on June 12 in Madrid, Spain. The concerts that were originally scheduled for May 28 in Prague, as well as June 1 and 3 in Milan, will be rescheduled, with new dates to be confirmed soon. Fans who wish to do so can obtain refunds for their tickets.

The sudden cancellation of the Marseille concert on Saturday evening left many fans disappointed, particularly since it was the only French date on the current tour. Many of the fans had already arrived at the 60,000-seat stadium when the announcement was made. These recent setbacks echo Springsteen's previous health-related postponement back in September, when he delayed his U.S. concerts to 2024 to recover from a gastric ulcer.

  • The popular rocker's illness has come as a significant disruption to fans who have eagerly anticipated his return to the stage, especially given the extensive preparation and planning involved in organizing such large-scale tours. His management reassures that Springsteen's health is of paramount importance, and they are making every effort to accommodate ticket holders who are affected by the schedule changes.
  • Springsteen, often referred to as 'The Boss,' has been a towering figure in the world of music for decades. His latest tour aims to celebrate his enduring legacy, showcasing music that spans his prolific career. The tour has been a top-grossing event, reflecting his undiminished popularity and the loyalty of his fanbase.
