Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard Awarded Most Improved Player

In addition to Berrettini's accolade, Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard has been named the ATP's 'Most Improved Player' of 2024. The 21-year-old from Lyon made a significant leap in the rankings, moving from above 200th to 31st place. His success includes winning the ATP 250 in Lyon and the ATP 500 in Basel, marking his first titles on the ATP circuit. Perricard expressed his delight at receiving the award, emphasizing the hard work of his team and his eagerness for the upcoming season.

Other notable awards included Michael Russell being named 'Coach of the Year' for his work with Taylor Fritz, and Aryna Sabalenka taking home the title of 'Player of the Year' in the women's category after winning both the Australian Open and the US Open.
